GAUDEAMUS is pleased to present its fifth Cd, Let Us Rejoice, which truly reflects the joyous celebration of our God-given gifts. The growth of this project has provided us with a unique opportunity for a remarkable journey, both professionally and spiritually. Our audiences have ranged from a small group of cancer patients to filled-to-capacity churches. We have met with presidents and board members of large organizations, as well as with those who operate small grass-roots nonprofits. Our association with Deborah Hospital Foundation enabled us to meet children from Tanzania who were undergoing life saving heart surgery, while the Wellness Place (for the cancer community) introduced us to children and adults who were battling a life threatening disease. Bright, dedicated students inquired about scholarship opportunities, and foster children infected with the HIV virus wrote to thank us for our financial assistance. The common link among all of these occasions has been our music and the ensuing charitable donation to the community.

Once again, your support of this project will enable us to continue our ministry. Our goal is to touch as many people as possible, helping them both spiritually and financially. The proceeds of this CD will protect the unborn, provide care for children who are chronically ill, and assist the hard-to-place foster child who has nowhere to turn. Families will be fed, the homeless will be sheltered, and those in need will be assisted. Scholarships will be awarded to deserving students who will someday give back to the community.

Most important, people of all races and religions will be impacted by your generosity. In the words of St. Francis of Assisi, "It is in giving that we receive." May you receive God's blessing this Christmas season and always.

    ABOUT GAUDEAMUS

Gaudeamus is an ensemble of professional musicians who donate their time and talent for the good of others. Formed in 1997 by Constance Cannon and Thomas Rudolph, the ensemble's mission is to share their God-given talents with others to help those in need.

The musicians include: Constance Cannon, piano; Dr. Thomas Rudolph, trumpet; Anthony Pirollo, cello; Joseph Brennan, violin; and Sarah Agnew, soprano. Their journey began in 1997 with the presentation of a now annual Christmas concert at Epiphany of Our Lord Church. The popularity of this performance has inspired them to expand their concert schedule to include various denominational churches in the Philadelphia area. In addition to the concerts, which now attract as many as 1,000 people, the ensemble has released five compact discs.

Gaudeamus is Latin for "let us rejoice." And the musicians do, both in their gifts from God and the opportunity to serve others. Through concerts and recordings, the group has provided support to health care and educational advancement organizations, as well as to those that seek to improve the lives of the less fortunate. The proceeds generated from this CD will be similarly dedicated.

Thank you for your purchase and for enabling GAUDEAMUS to continue its ministry of sharing what has so graciously been given to them.
