GAUDEAMUS is pleased to
present its fifth Cd, Let Us Rejoice, which truly reflects
the joyous celebration of our God-given gifts. The growth of this
project has provided us with a unique opportunity for a remarkable
journey, both professionally and spiritually. Our audiences have
ranged from a small group of cancer patients to filled-to-capacity
churches. We have met with presidents and board members of large
organizations, as well as with those who operate small grass-roots
nonprofits. Our association with Deborah Hospital Foundation enabled
us to meet children from Tanzania who were undergoing life saving
heart surgery, while the Wellness Place (for the cancer community)
introduced us to children and adults who were battling a life
threatening disease. Bright, dedicated students inquired about
scholarship opportunities, and foster children infected with the HIV
virus wrote to thank us for our financial assistance. The common
link among all of these occasions has been our music and the ensuing
charitable donation to the community.
Once again, your support of this project will
enable us to continue our ministry. Our goal is to touch as many
people as possible, helping them both spiritually and financially.
The proceeds of this CD will protect the unborn, provide care for
children who are chronically ill, and assist the hard-to-place
foster child who has nowhere to turn. Families will be fed, the
homeless will be sheltered, and those in need will be assisted.
Scholarships will be awarded to deserving students who will someday
give back to the community.
Most important, people of all races and
religions will be impacted by your generosity. In the words of St.
Francis of Assisi, "It is in giving that we receive." May you
receive God's blessing this Christmas season and always.
